What we do with your personal data.

1. What we collect

1.1: Your name and email address, from the booking form.
1.2: The form asks whether you are a man or a woman. We store only the dancing role that implies, leader or follower. We do not store your gender.
1.3: Whether you are coming alone or with a partner.
1.4: Payment data is collected by Montonio Finance OÜ. We are told the amount, the currency and whether the payment succeeded. We never see your card details.
1.5: Montonio’s checkout collects technical data from your browser so that the payment works and fraud is caught.
1.6: Any email you send us.
1.7: Usage statistics that contain nothing identifying you.
1.8: If you arrive from one of our ads, the advertising provider is told that you visited and whether you booked.

2.1: We use your name and email to run the course you booked.
2.2: We use the dancing role and whether you are coming with a partner to balance the room, so that everyone has somebody to dance with.
2.3: We keep payment and accounting records because the law requires it.
2.4: We use usage statistics to improve the site. You can object to this.
2.5: We use advertising data to see which ads bring people to a class. You can object to this.

3.1: Class lists are held on our own server.
3.2: Montonio Finance OÜ processes payments and is a separate controller of the data it collects.
3.3: We use an email provider to send confirmations, an analytics provider to count visits, and an advertising provider to measure our ads. We will name them on request.
3.4: When you book, we send the advertising provider a scrambled copy of your name and email address, so that it can match the booking to an ad. It is not readable as text, but that provider can match it to an account it already holds.
3.5: Where a provider is outside the European Economic Area, the transfer is covered by the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses.
3.6: We do not sell your data. We give it to authorities only where the law requires.

5.1: The advertising provider stores a cookie on your device so that a return visit is recognised.
5.2: Nothing else we run stores anything on your device.
5.3: You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The site works either way.

6.1: You can ask to see your data, correct it, delete it, export it, or object to us using it. Email [email protected] and we answer within a month.
6.2: You can complain to the Data Protection Inspectorate, Tatari 39, Tallinn 10134, aki.ee.

7.1: The site runs over HTTPS and the database is not reachable from the internet.
7.2: Only the teachers on your course see the class list.
